A shocking 17.7 million children in India are out of school. Working in hazardous conditions, living on the street, braving hunger, poverty and violence, childhood for them has become an endless struggle to survive. Amidst the severe cold of winters, a pride of valiant youths having immense fire inside visited remote tribal villages around Ranchi, Jharkhand. Assessment of the hitherto scenario and coming to conclusion of lagging quality education facilities to the village children and thereby drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda Ji thought regarding education ultimately gave birth to the programme named “RATRI PATHSHALA”. Following the grassroots participation of rural masses in order to frame decentralized planning through the Gram Sabha meeting, the organization has selected the educated youths to participate in this program.
