To support children of farmers who help with household chores during the day, GBSS runs free night schools in villages like Maildih, Benti, and Gunguniya. Many students have secured first-class grades in higher secondary examinations — proof that given the right opportunity, rural children excel.

GBSS has hosted interns from across India to conduct focused research on two critical domains for Jharkhand’s sustainable development: Eco-Tourism and the Handicraft Industry. This research directly informs our programme design, policy recommendations, and community strategies — ensuring every initiative is rooted in evidence.
